Nestled in the Gascon countryside of South West France, Atelier Vintage Vert is my boutique and creative studio - a welcoming space where furniture, interiors and traditional craft come together.
My Story
I’m Christine, originally from Scotland, and I trained as an traditional upholsterer before running my first studio on the south coast of England. Those years taught me the discipline of craftsmanship — patience, precision and the beauty and value of restoring what already has a story.
When I moved to France, I carried that same ethos with me, along with a deep love for interiors. Atelier Vintage Vert reflects that: a space where furniture is restored, paints and wallpapers are explored, and creativity is shared.

The Atelier Way
Atelier Vintage Vert is guided by a simple ethos: respect for craftsmanship and respect for the world around us. With roots in traditional upholstery, I learned early the value of working with care, patience, and precision — qualities that remain at the heart of every restoration, every workshop, and every product I curate.
Equally, design must be sustainable. To restore, refinish, and reimagine is to honour the materials we already have, using eco-conscious paints and finishes that combine authenticity with style.
Visiting the Atelier
Housed in a rustic barn beside our French farmhouse, the atelier has the easy charm of Gascony — warm, relaxed and creative. It’s a space to explore at your own pace: to browse paints and wallpapers, discover candles, or simply talk through ideas for your next project.
We open on selected days, and visits are always welcome by appointment. This way, you’ll find the atelier at its best — calm, unhurried, and with time to discuss your plans.
